Hawaiian Shirt Party

Hawaiian shirt parties are to summer what ugly sweaters are to winter. But, fear not! The boxy, bright shirts do not have to spell fashion doom. It's totally possible to put together a cute Hawaiian shirt outfit.

A coordinated belt takes this one from shapeless bleh to kimono-fit cool. Plus, slim jeans and nude wedges give the illusion of ultra-long legs. Hello Hawaiian shirt sexy!

  1. What a fun idea! I will have to try hosting one of these parties! Also, I LOVE your shoes. I am a sucker for great wedges, and I love the detailed stitching of yours! Where did you get them?

    1. Seriously, when the photographer took these we were both like "OMG!!!" because some kind of crazy optical illusion is happening with the color the fence and the color of my shoes and my legs. They look INSANE! Definitely not how they normally look, lol.

  5. Yes, an outfit of the day in jeans - my kind of girl! You make the shirt look so cool; I love what you say about Hawaiian floral print to summer being what ugly knitted jumpers are to winter. I do love a cute winter jumper though. Rosemary x

  27. I LOVE that tropical print!! I've been so obsessed with prints like that lately...there was a dress I wanted to get at Love Culture but darn it all if it didn't get sold out before I got a chance to buy it. Here's hoping they restock. BTW, your jeans look awesome on you!! (via our jeanious twitter convo!)
